Best Records of the Year:
1. Enter Shikari - Take to the Skies
I can't stop listening to this album; I really think everyone can get into this.
2. Suicide Silence - The Cleansing
I'm just a big fan and they delivered on this one.
3. Chiodos - Bone Pallace Ballet
This is undeniably a more progressive record that is just too catchy to ignore.
4. Between the Buried and Me - Colors
Although there was some really weird stuff on this album, it also featured some of their best material to date.
5. Comeback Kid - Broadcasting...
You can't deny this album, it is just so well done, though I'm still waiting for when they make Turn It Around II.
Worst Records of the Year:
Cartel - Cartel (just complete pop crap; thank you Dr. Pepper bubble)
Mayday Parade - A Lesson In Romantics (I wanted to stop listening to music when I heard this)
Paramore - Riot! (this band just makes me angry about people that watch TRL)
Britney Spears - Blackout (no, I didn't listen to this, but just the fact that she can still make music and people will care and buy the record deserves to put this on the list)
Biggest Disappointments:
Through the Eyes of the Dead - Malice (the new singer was a disappointment)
Job for a Cowboy - Genesis (no breakdowns or pig squeals is bad JFAC)
Cartel - Cartel (horrible)
Lamb of God - Sacrament (some stuff they tried just didn't work out for me)
The Chariot - The Fiancee (the first album was way more intense and raw)
Most Anticipated for '08:
Underoath - TBA
Protest the Hero - Fortress
Sky Eats Airplane - TBA
Blessed by a Broken Heart - TBA
Winds of Plague - Decimate the Weak
Annotations of an Autopsy - Before the Throne of Infection
mychildren mybride - Unbreakable

Had a chance to listen to the new Protest. Unfortunately, it's not quite as good as Kezia, but it's decent. Jan 13, 2008
