Refreshing musicianship that's unexpectedly mellow doesn't jive properly with the lukewarm vocal stylings that unfortunately lend themselves to sound misplaced. They're assertive but too muted to meld into the concrete rhythms and overpoweringly furious melodies. Metaphorically based and earnest, the lyricism is supersolid. Watch out for the length of a lot of these tracks,  some super long songs here that are quite daunting.
