The Scaries brand of power alt rock will rub you the right way. Densely layered and jaggedly lovely, Souvenir has a bright and upbeat vibe despite the not so bright and upbeat lyrical content. The band's got a great sonic quality, but SOUVENIR is missing textural changes to keep me interested and by the end I was tired of so many recycled riffs.
