WOW! Some bands sound the same throughout their existance, then there are bands that take the chance, maybe get rid of a member or two, and make the best decision they've ever made. Kicked In The Head has done that and will turn a lot of heads of both fans and industry peeps with the release of the "Salita" EP recently released on Resurrection A.D.. "Thick As Thieves" was the band's first full-length/self-produced album album which came out in November of 2000 followed by the re-release on Ressurection in 2001. Those of you familiar with the band also know from their beginning days they had horns when the whole ska-core movement was out and about, but since then they have decided to release the horns and bring on the hardcore. The voice of Gary Hedrick (vocals) is one of the most distinctive and unique out there and think all listeners will agree. By performing at the CMJ showcase this year the band has shown they are on a new path, and one that is sure to lead them to a path of success all bands as hard working as Kicked In The Head deserve.
