Opening up with a track reminiscent of Fugazi (Jhazz Never Spelled So Good) are the slugger's from Louisville.... Christiansen. It's evident from the beginning that the band planned to push the boundries unlike many bands. With evident influences like the aforementioned Fugazi, Christiansen also rocks out with style and energy similar to At The Drive In, Endpoint, Slint, and Falling Forward. Trying to write a lengthy review of Forensics... is impossible. The ep defies all definition, but shows the band's plan to make their mark with this, their Revelation debut release. Indie, jazz, and electronics woven with deep insightful lyrics is what you can expect, and you won't be disappointed.
